Tee’s entire professional career has been focused on helping individuals and businesses resolve personal, business and societal problems. As a law clerk to judges in Civil Court, Criminal Court, Bankruptcy Court, and Family Court had the opportunity to learn from 5 judges, work on hundreds of files, analyzing complex procedural and substantive issues in federal state and territorial cases, and sit in on complex trials. This experience has given him the ability to grasp and analyze complex procedural, factual and legal issues quickly.
Since moving to Florida in 1995 his practice has included representing parties in complex business law cases, class action consumer protection cases (including as certified lead class counsel and co-class counsel), complex family law cases, domestic cases, international cases, and cases involving businesses and government agencies, including foreign governments. He has represented clients in State and Federal Courts in Florida and other States (pro hac vice), and in the Territorial Courts in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
His practice has not only included representing clients in courts. He also represents business in transactional matters, including business growth and development issues, mergers and acquisitions, risk analysis and management, negotiations of deals, real estate purchase and sale, and reorganization issues. As an arbitrator and mediator, including arbitrating and mediating simple and complex cases, he is able to use his dispute resolution skills to help his clients resolve conflicts without litigation.
